FNB has gone for an interactive experience with the new look homepage. Not been able to look at it from an unbiased perspective I will reserve comment, but feel free to have your say in the comments. But here is the the thought processes followed from the design team's perspective ...

I think all banks make their webpages much too complicated. My main problem with FNB is that the site now takes forever to load.i can sit for more than an hour to get anywhere. this was not the case with the old system !
